1. Introduction
a. This equipment has a very fast cutting velocity, a precise cutting angle and a smooth cutting face.
b. This machine is specially used to cut big diameter(1.2m-8m) pipe. The cutting plane is plumb with the pipe axis all the time, and can be used both in pipe cutting and plate cutting.
2. Co***rison with the same kind of production
a. Co***rison with hand-operated cutting machine
Hand-operated cutting machine has a bad precision and usually the beginning point doesn¡¯t match the ending point.
b. Co***rison with magnetic automatic cutting machine
This kind of machine makes use of magnet to keep it walking on the pipe.
(1) In case the pipe doesn¡¯t have a good ovality, especially pipe with a big diameter, the cutting path will be changed a lot.
(2) When pipe surface has covering, the magnet force will be reduced, even to an extent on which it can¡¯t afford its gravity, so that it can¡¯t work normally.
(3) Some co***nies add a orbit around the pipe to solve the problem mentioned in (2), but this also makes the precision worse.
c. Co***rison with orbit automatic cutting machine
Using a orbit as its cutting path, this kind of machine can¡¯t give a precise outcome also.
The three kinds of mainstream cutting machine mentioned above have a common disadvantage that, the larger diameter the pipe has, the worse precision the machine makes.
